HELP with ants.?

I just found an ant nest in one if my outside electrical outlets (one with a cover over it). How can I kill them with out getting shocked?

cut box off  at main breaker, then get some termite killer, this will get rid of ants and also spray around house for termites.

Here are some steps:

1. Open the electrical outlet so the ants have a place to go, outside.

2.Set some ant bait traps outside so they ants have access to them. A really good brand to use is the Raid Double Bait Traps. Ask about it at your local Home Depot and Lowe's.

3.All you have to do is wait for the ants to take the poisonous baits back into the electrical outlet, and to their colony. The poisonous baits will eventually make it to all the colony's larvae, ants, and queen. You won't have to worry about manually destroying the colony, it will destroy itself.
