  1. Put them back in the house with some batting or nesting material.  The mother will come back if you put the house back where it was.  It is not true that the mother will not take care of them if they are touched by humans.  Or you could take them to a bird rescue.  Don't try to feed them.  It could make them sick.  If they look hurt, then take them immediately to some wild life center. It would be better if you just leave them in the nest for a little bit and watch for the mother to come back.  She is not far away.

  2. Take them to a wildlife rehabilitation center. FAST.

  3. Put the birds back into the nest box..add grass, twigs etc. for warmth, and replace it so the parents can come back and tend to them.  The parents are probably looking for the nest now..so get it replaced where it belongs.  If you cannot reach the exact spot where it was as long as you hang it as close as possible to the original location, the parents should be able to hear the begging calls and find their chicks.

  4. Bring them ASAP to the nearest facility or individual that is licensed to rehabilitate wildlife. They need to have immediate attention if they are going to make it. Google your Department of Natural Resources for your state and then in that site search for "wildlife rehabilitators" you should get a list that will allow you to see which ones are close to you, call them and get the birds to them ASAP!

    EDIT

Depending on the type of bird, the mother can be extremely picky about her nest. If you had put the question up the moment you found them, I would have advised you to put them back in carefully and watch for 2 hours to be sure mom took care of them.

BUT because the babies have been out of the nest for an entire day, they are going to be dehydrated and in need of medical attention from a permitted wildlife rehabilitator.

  5. call a bird sacuary, look in phonebook under bird clubs,or call vet and he should be able to tell how to call.also get a jar of

strind meat baby food, feed with eye dopper.
