  1. rest her skin for a while, let her run around, get her moving this will cause her to sweat and will moisten her skin making it easier to get the pen off. I am imagining you are dunking her in the bath and scrubbing and scrubbing, dont!. in a couple of hours, run her a warm really bubbly bath and provide her with loads of toys and a waterproof book if you have one. She will hopefully "soak"  for say about 1/2 an hour and the pen will fade. Scrubbing will only make the skin sore and dry and will make it harder to get off.

If this doesnt work but i imagine it will get a lot off, try what someone else said with make-up remover. Depend on what time of day it is but if she has to sleep before the wedding give her a shower the following morning.

  2. how about fingernail polish remover or alcohol

  3. Ok... number 1... Gladfully... it's not a word. Don't ever use it again.

Number 2... If everything you tried did not work I'd say that they only thing left is to let mother nature run her course and let the dead skin come off. If it's not shed by the wedding then just tell people the lovely story of your child and the felt pen.

  4. Why did you give your 3 year old non washable felt tips?

If a warm soapy bath isn't working, you're pretty stuck. Please don't use chemicals on your child's skin - it's not the end of the world if she goes to the wedding with felt pen face!

  5. you should try makeup towelette removers :)

they can take off fresh press on tattoos. that might do it

    good luck!

  6. baby magic lotion may help

  7. Don't sweat it!  Anyone who is a parent knows what three year olds can do--most of it will be off in two days anyway, but you can always tell the guests, with pride, "Yes, Amanda was so excited about the wedding, she decided to decorate herself!"  Don't think for a minute that your daughter's appearance will make or break that wedding!

  8. My daughter did something like that.I think I tried everything and nothing took it away completely.Try to let your child sit in the water for a while. The longer they are in the water the easier it comes off.Time itself with help.I think it will be ok in 48 hrs.Just keep washing and good luck.

  9. go to the store and look for Witch Hazel.  It is gentle on the skin and should at least fade some of the markings away.  The only other thing I know to try is alcohol...

    Good Luck!
