  1. Get some Diatomaceous Earth. Make sure it is the food grade DE that is very important, it will not harm you, your son, or any pets you may have. Sprinkle it around the base of all walls in the house and along windowsills and back edges of counters where you have seen the ants. Within a couple of days you will not have any pest problems in your house. It is also good to sprinkle in between mattress and box springs to get rid of bedbugs and mites. Be careful if you use it outdoors if it is anywhere a honeybee can come in contact with it it will wipe entire colonies and we need all the honeybees we can get for food pollination.

  2. find out where they are coming from and scrub chalk around that place. also try bay or cornstarch or baking soda. they are coming from somewhere outside, so you need to figure that out first

  3. Try diatomaceous earth (see link below).

  4. Stop feeding them.  No more keeping garbage or bones in the house.  Don't leave water out for them either.

  5. kettle of boiling water

  6. I would use baby powder; it has worked for me before!

  7. I'll tell you what I told somebody else.

The easiest and unharmful way is to check for a nest. Then get a bucket/pail and put some food in it. the food will attract the ants into the pail (watch the bucket to make sure they get in) and take the bucket/pail outside and free them. Then check for a hole or crack in which the ants were getting in from. Check the sink drains also. They could come from in there. Block them with something big and make sure they can't squeeze out of it.

That should rid you of ants.

    No chemicals.
