the website which alows you to listen to free music but it opens windows media player so when you listen to it , it comes up on msn

I don't really follow, but you're just looking for internet radio stations? Try Live365.com for a bunch of streams. At the moment, I'm listening to Q107.

Pop this into the "open URL" box of your preferred media player to listen to it.

All you need to do to listen to most online radio stations is find their stream URL and off you go.
