I had my nose piercd 5 1/2 weeks ago with a gun and i have to take it out for school which starts next wednesday.

I tried today because i need to learn a technique in time for school. I managed to get it out a bit but as soon as it gets to the point where i can no longer see it up my nose and the end has just entered the skin it hurts so much so i cant face it. Im worried that its stuck or something or is it bound to hurt first time?

And please dont lecture me on not having it done with a gun cause i know i shouldnt have but i didnt know at the time. I just wana know how i can get it out now without being in pain!

Thanks = ]

  1. It there is a tattoo/piercing shop near you go there and have a pro take it out for you. They usually don't charge anything and it doesn't hurt as much.

  2. Ok a few things:

I'm not going to give you a hard time about the gun, because I'm sure at this point you've learned the lesson the hard way.

There are different techniques for removing jewelry, depending on what style it is. I'll start with what's usually used in a gun:

Nose bone - straight piece of jewelry with a bead on either end. These are absolutely terrible pieces. There are only two ways to remove them, neither are good. You can just force it out (not recommended) or you can have it cut. You will need to get a piercer to cut it for you and remove it. You can then be fitted with a glass or quartz retainer, since I'm assuming you want to keep the piercing, but not have it visible at school.

Butterfly back ear ring - Remove the backing and pull straight out. I doubt you would be asking if this was the jewelry you have, cause they're pretty easy to figure out.

Nostril s***w - bead on one end, fishtail post (it curves after it enters your nose). Simply grasp the bead and gently pull, following the shape of the jewelry. You have to twist it as you get to the bend.

Labret stud - flat backing inside the nose, bead out side. You need to unscrew the bead. grasp both the flat back and the bead and twist. Once the bead is removed it will be easy to pull the post through your nostril.

No matter what you should go to a reputable piercing studio (call first to see if you need to bring a parent). You will need to get a properly fitted retainer if you want to keep the piercing. A Piercer will also be able to remove the jewelry you have in. Don't take it out yourself before going to the studio, the piercing will close.

    Good Luck!

  3. try pulling real fast,it's probably not healed yet that's why it hurts.

Or if you can't do it that way try putting some ice on it first

  4. i dont have mine done but my friend does and she said it hurt her alot to when she took it out the 1st time. i think she just pulled it lol.

    xoxoxo

  5. i dont think anything is wrong, i jsut think its not healed yet. hmm, if i were you i would just try to suck it up and pull it out.

    answer mine? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

  6. well i pierced my own nose with a safety pin but mine got like that all the time like seriously and i had a nose bone in so all i did was hold my nose still then i would close my eyes and pull really hard....yea it will hurt but you'll be able to get it out so just try it please

  7. Okay, this sounds weird, but it really will help. Before you attempt to take it out again, get a large bowl of warm (not hot) water and some mild soap. On the outside of your nose, rub a little bit of the mild soap. Then, stick your face in the water and blow bubbles. Continue to soak your nose by blowing bubbles for a couple of minutes. This will soften up your skin.

Now, on to the problem of removing a stud earring from a nose. This part is going to hurt the first time because noses are not really meant for studs (no lecturing from me though I promise :-) ). If you can "flip" your nostril out a bit to get a better visual on the stud, it will make it easier. After you get it out, immediately put a proper nose ring in the hole. Noses heal really fast without rings in them when it is a new piercing. Putting in a nose ring is a bit tricky the first time, I recommend using a mirror so that you can see what you are doing.

    Good luck!

  8. Okay first of all don't worry. gently apply Vaseline around that area leave for 5 minutes. that will help to soothe your skin and you will be able to take the stud out.
