HELP!My fiance and I are getting married in Nov. of this year but his grandmother and aunts are so in control?

my fiance and i are bumping heads 5 months before our wedding bcuz his grandmothers and aunts are in control of everything but since its their first grandson to get married they r going to pay for everything besides my dress and his suit but im afraid they are going to rub it in our face about paying for the wedding what should i do

  1. Think about running off with him and getting married somewhere else.These nosey people will try to control much more than the wedding in the future.Marriage doesnt need any more stress. Good luck


  2. I would change plans pretty quickly. You and your fiance figure out how much the two of you can afford to spend, and you pay for the wedding yourselves.

  3. Send them a really expensive and sincere thank you card and then put it out of your mind. Enjoy your wedding day. Just because someone pays for your wedding does not mean that they have a a hidden agenda. Even if they do, you have no obligation to either of these people. They gave and you thened them. You have fulfilled any obligation you might have had to them.

    It's the same as 'Uncle Harry" giving you a toaster. How you use the toaster is your business .
