Ok so Im a singer i have been smoking weed for a couple of years and now that im taking my music ultra serious ...i quit... i hear my fallceto (head voice) getting WAYYYYY better but im curious will my voice ever be back to how it was prior to when i started smoking...Can i see a doctor or find natural remedies(tea honey etc.) to smooth out my vocal chords.. what about my diaphram can breathing help higher my range and perfect my sound dispite my raspy vocal chords???....PS im only 20...im going thru artist development so i have like a year 2 get my sh*t together...Pls SERIOUS ANSWERS/AND ADVICE... not judgemental responses... whats done is done i need SERioUS ADVICE

PPs....i used to smoke Marijuana out of blunts..(phillies , dutches etc.)

never cigaretts or no other drugs..no alcohol either

  1. Smoking pot should only reduce your lung capacity and not even by much. Smoking pot in excess could have worse effects. I know of a natural remedy for throat and vocal chord health. Wheatgrass. Look up some information on it and hopefully it will help you out


  2. time will heal. at your age, you can probably expect to make a pretty full recovery. Cigarette smokers can smoke to age 30 and fully recover within 5 years, and i doubt you were smoking 20 joints a day so you should be okay.
