HELPP!!! How to remove a spyware program called "Antivirus XP 2008"?

It's getting very annoying because everytime i try to type in a answer or question or go to a website, it keep interferring and it take me back about 10 pages where i was before, i already system restored it but it steal doing the same thing and i also try removing it because i have a virus remover but still nothing

Boot into safe mode and uninstall it.

During safe mode, no startup applications open.. I had to do this to get rid off this program called "Bullguard"

To get on safe mode, turn the laptop on and on the "Windows XP" loading screen, press and hold F8

First you should start your PC in Safe mode then

Just follow the instructions given by the moderator named fink on this site, and that anti-virus XP 2008 Will be gone!!!

1.Go to the control panel

2.Select 'Add or Remove Programs'

3.Select XP Antivirus 2008 from the list(Sometimes the name is different then look for it's icon)

4.Uninstall it

As the computer is booting press your "F8 Key" repeatly which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" . Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key.

After into safe mode,run an anti-spyware to remove the spyware and adware on you computer.

Make sure you have 1 or 2 antispyware on your computer and 1 antivirus and also 1 firewall.
