HELPP!! plane fright =(?

okay, i am going on 4 plane flights and im super scared.... wat do i do?????

  1. heyyyy girlfriend BFFL! omg i cant belive u are scared of flights omg im been on so many i havnt ever been scared just dont worry about it like in july im going to texas so im not scared just bring stuff to do and then u will forget about how scared you are so relax and have a nice trip LOVE YAH! :)


  2. Try listening to music, watching a video or taking gravol. Remember that riding in an airplane is FAR less dangerous than riding in a car.

  3. I have the same problem, and I find taking gravol is the best solution for me. It will calm you down, and it will stop you from getting nauseated. I took it once and fell asleep for 9 hours. It's a very easy, safe way to help calm you down. And of course keep in mind it's one of the safest forms of travel.

  4. it's not that bad, it's just uncomfortable and smells bad. bring a book. i myself am super afraid of heights, and when your on for like 10 min you forget it all and remember that you're super bored.

    Flying is one of the safest forms of travel on this planet.

    I've flown... way too many frequent-flyer miles to contemplate!

    Flying is fun and safe.

    Unless (of course) you're not talking about the major airlines; but some dodgy plane that's held together with duct tape.  In which case, I'd be terrified too.

    But if you're really in a state over the flights... go see your doctor and get them to prescribe something to help calm your nerves.  No point in you screaming hysterically all the way and upsetting all the other passengers on the flight.  LOL

    You have nothing to worry about.

    Sit back and enjoy the flight.

  6. wow!!! Your going to be super tired! anyway.... Yeah I get scared of plane rides also. The best thing you gotta do is first... 1.. Pray before the plane u get on leaves.

    And 2. To help you relax. This is how i relax. The most twisting nevers feeling you get is when the plane starts to take off.

    Try crewing some gum. Or sucking on a hard peace of candy. Also put on some music or anything. So you wont hear the engen running as the plane takes off. Thats what I do. That will get your mind kinda relax.  

    After a few mins when the plane ride goes easy going. Your body well feel more relax.  Just keep listening to music or watch a move until you feel alot relax to take them off. Cuz after maybe an hour or so. Depends of how long your plane ride is. You will feel alot relax.

    Dont feel nevers if you have to use the restroom. Heres a tip...go to the bathroom on the plane before it takes off. Then after awhile. When your body is more relax. You can take off your ear phones and get us to use the rest room.

    ( DONT try to hold it! And your still nevers as h**l to get up)

    But this will help you over come you fears. But plane rides gotta get use to. Alot of people get use to it real fast. Others take awhile or years. Depends how manny times they go on the plane. But just do that. Thats what i do. Because I get nevers on plane rides too.

  7. Wear your favorite PJ'S if its at night or early in the morning...Bring your iPod/mp3 player/CD player. Anything to keep you occupied...Its not that bad...Just remember that the chances of a reenactment of 9/11 are very slim. I've been on quite a few planes since then, and I'm still alive.

  13. I used to fear flying and have a couple tips to make your trip more enjoyable.  

    1.  Buy earplugs!  They drown out the sounds around you and create a calm relaxed atmosphere.  

    2. Dress comfy

    3. Bring your IPOD, book, computer, DVD's or anything to pass the time quickly.

    4.  Bring a chamomile tea bag on-board and ask for a cup of hot water to help relax

    5.  Know that flying is super safe and actually can be REALLY fun!
