HELPPPP!!! ITUNES/IPOD TROUBLE!!! ?

Ok so my secondary hard drive crashed, died, or whatever; the point is, it's no longer recognized by my computer. It was F drive and now its plain gone. Anyways, I had all my itunes media in that hard drive, and now it's gone.

Now the itunes library is located in the C hard drive. All the songs and videos still show up on itunes, but it can't really find/play/edit them, which I get because the hard drive that it was on is now a goner.

My question is, can I connect my iPod to my computer, despite the fact that all the files that were once on my library are now gone? I mean, would it erase all my media that's on my iPod now, and proceed to add only the new library? Or would it just update it with some stuff that I added to the itunes library on drive C, yet still keep the files that are on the iPod?

  1. something like that happened to me.

i think it would erase the music on your ipod, unless you bought the songs.
