when should i breed my cockatiel again?

last time they breed was june 25 2008.

  1. You should only allow your cockatiels to breed twice a year (meaning every six months, not once in June and once in August).  In between you should remove any nest box.  Allowing your birds to continually breed will eventually kill your hen.

  2. Stop them from breeding.  Do not do it.  It is way too soon.

    What happened to the June babies?  Why do you want more babies?

    You have control over this so stop them.  They are breeding because there is lots of daylight hours (cover the cage early and leave it covered until noon with a dark cloth. Remove all nests and nesting material and cut their food in half for a few days.
