  1. In horses the gene for a grey horse may be G and for a brown horse g . Grey (G) is dominant over brown (g)

Two horses that are both grey (same phenotypes) may have different genotypes . I.e: GG , Gg

  2. if there are 2 women, one with no alleles for, lets say color blindness, and the other one with 1 allele for color blindness and one against it, both women aren't color blind, but have different genotypes.

one  XCXC, and the other XCXc.

the second one can be considered a carrier for color blindness, but does not have the condition.

    hope you understand it :P

  3. Two people have brown eyes (same phenotype).  One is homozygous for the trait (BB) the other is heterozygous for the trait (Bb).

  4. two animals can have the same phenotype because the act the same, but have a different genotype because they develop defferently.

    cats and ferrets for example.
