HELP:effects of social class on life oppertunities??

I'm doing an essay on the effects of inequality on australian society and I can't find much information. Does anybody know where I can find good articles, papers or websites with this? The question is

"does a persons (australians) social class effect their life chances?" Any help would be GREATLY apreciated. Thanx :)
