I saw this term on a cable political news show today. I saw it in the previews but was unable to catch the entire story,

All I could understand is it was regarding a "popular trend among teenage girls".

Do any of you any insight or a definition of some sort?

To me, it sounds similar to "bi-curious".

Heteroflexible is the same as bi-curious.  It means a person identifies being heterosexual, but is open also to considering a homosexual relationship just because they want to find love or also may also have feeligs for some either the same or opposite gender.
