  1. actually to me it sounds as though YOU are a teenager, because they whinge about completely pointless things just like you are right now.

and who said that some of the people who answer the questions arent teen parents?

they have just as many rights as the 40 year olds on here.

  2. I'm a teenage mommy. I'll answer someone's question if I have some valuable insight. I think it's more than annoying when someone answers your question saying 'I don't know'. As long as I know the answer [or if I think I do :)], then I'll answer the question. If you don't like or respect my answer then give me a thumbs down, report me, or just don't pick me as a best answer!

  3. Hey you know some people may not like it but heck I'm 14 and here i am answering a parenting question. I feel like some times teens have their own opinion on this types of issues. Also when parents ask questions about how to punish a teen etc Some people like to know how this will effect their child and how someone the child's age would feel. I may be only 14 but I'm smarter then 50% of adults out there and lets face it sometimes children have the best ideas because of the way they view the world.

  4. And dont you hate it when parents answer a teen question?? Oh you can do that why because youre parents?? Right. Well there are teens on here that might actually have better advice than some adults on here.

  5. well what if an adult that is not a parent answers, does that bother you too?

oh yea, and what about teen parents?

sometimes a teenager's insight can help parents to be better parents. Why dont you value EVERYONE'S perspective?

  6. It doesn't bother me. Besides, they could be teen parents or have opinions based on their own parents parenting, or maybe raising brothers and sisters

  7. Why? I have actually picked a ton of best answers to teens. Some even regarding my teen. As long as they aren't rude, I have no problem with it and love hearing oppinions.

  8. I am a teenager, and I have answered parenting questions in the past. I base them on the experiences I've had growing up, and the experiences I've had looking after my younger siblings/babysitting. Believe it or not, not all teenagers are 'morons', though I might be a little biased. :)

  9. I do! I ask a question about my baby or something and some 15 year od answers with i dont know or ive never had a baby but i think. I dont care what you think i need to know from someone who does!

  10. Well all I have to say is....School will be starting again soon!  YAY!

But I know of at least one or two teens here (that are not parents themselves) that are not morons and have a good take on a lot of situations.  Although teen parents should be free to use the forum to help them gain knowledge if they need it or to even give knowledge.

  11. Yeah, quit answering questions.

Plus, if you're a teen answering a parenting question because you're a parent yourself, I don't think I really WANT to hear your answers, seeing as you've already proven yourself pretty irresponsible to begin with.

  12. It's nice to hear that a lot of people are open to answers from those who aren't parents. I'm not a teen, but I'm not a parent either and I sometimes answer these questions. Having a baby doesn't mean that you are any more knowledable than those who don't have babies. A lot of parents suck at parenting, whether they are teens are not! All that being a parent entails is that you get pregnant, it's not like you have to pass some kind of test or anything. So where do you come off being so smart?
