HEY YOU SMART ELECTRITIONS!!!! HeLP!?

Question

ok so i got a MAGNAVOX stereo and i got a sub that i bought apart from and my stereo doenst have the three color coated audio out put thing but im woundering if i could cut the RED and YELLOW cables then get stereo speaker wire and connect them by wleding or taping them togeather!

do you think it would work?

no dont think so theres a reason for 3 wires

trash it a buy a real head unit .. sorry sound may not be what you have but how it is hooked up..but you have to at least start with a worthy head unit.

nope. every manufacturer can have its own wiring, so you don't know what are you doing.

use a soldering tool and it could work. do not use tape

there  is  speaker  level  output and  line  level output. you  cant  mix them. you will  either  blow  your  speakers  or  blow  the  amp.  pay  the  50 bucks  and  let future shop or  some  other cut  rate  installer do it
