Id like to lose some weight and well if u have any advise id love to hear.

okay i feel like i can be comitted and im willing to try if i know what to do..

so can anyone help me out??

heres what i think i need to do..from the research ive looked up..

tell me if im right or wrong.

> Drink 9 glasses of water a day

> Eat 6 times a day

> Eat Breakfast

> Cut out salt

> Cut out sugar

> 33 carbohydrates a day

> Eat a big breakfast and a small dinner

> Do cardiovascular exercise

> Dance

> Take Walks

> Try to lose 5 pounds every 2 weeks

> 2000 calories per day

> Write down what you eat

When you are craving sweets, get fruit. fresh fruits and veggies are the way to go. also, eat yogurt and cottage cheese. these are great snacks that are good for you and dont get too boring. you can put tomato's in the cottage cheese or i like to eat it w/ low sodium wheat thins. i also like cheese and crackers. but not too much cheese. I also like to get rice cakes. the caramel kind are really good and healthy. diet food is too hard to stick to, so just watch what you eat. grilled chicken is really good for you and so is fish. you can do sushi or tuna or salmon the list goes on and on. the biggest thing is if you are craving something, it is ok to have a little every now and then. all fruits are good on diets, but the ones with a lot of fiber are the best. think apples, pears, banana's etc. grapefruit is great for breakfast. so are eggwhites.

    you should work out for at least 30 minutes 5 days a week. i really like to do the eliptical trainer at the gym it is easier than running and you burn more calories. plus i like to see how many calories i am really burning.  


  2. wow you asked alot of questions.  well in order from what i know is best: weighing is not that great of a tool, the best is get a measuring tape, measure ur bust, smallest part of ur waist, ur biggest butt/thigh area, your neck, your arms, and the biggest part of ur legs.  some websites have a system where you can plug in the measurements and measure the fat on ur body.  when you start working out on a daily basis you will gain muscle and muscle mass is always heavier than fat.  so needless to say weighing on a scale can get discouraging.  now the eating, just make subsitions, for instance, buy soy milk verses regular milk, whole grain bread vs white bread, organic vs processed.  and always veggies (especially greens) and any fruit will always work.  work out at first 3 times a week or if you can do more than that go for it, but dont push urself because you dont want to hurt ur muscles then you dont want to work out the next day.  opt for stairs over the elevator.  eat fruit if you have cravings, water, or tea.  i think tea is a better choice than regular milk.  go for tofu, or boca, some health stores offer more vegan/organic items to eat.  take it one day at a time.  maybe you can have a couple of ur friends go on the diet with you. that way you can encourage each other. hope this helps!
