Im so scared I saw like 40 bats outside on the top of the apartment help

  1. Yes there are bats in India.  No, bats are not venomous.  They are critical to the environment.  Fruit eaters and nectar feeding bats are critical to keeping the rain forests alive.  Insect eating bats keep alot of bad bugs under control.

    There are no venomous bats.  Bats are not poisonous.

    Bats do, though, often carry diseases, including rabies and lice.

    You should NEVER pick up a bat from the ground.  If they are on the ground, they are usually sick.  Just leave it alone, or call a police officer to have it removed safely.

    Bats are beneficial.  They eat bugs, especially mosquitoes.  The possibility of getting a disease from a mosquito is more probable than getting bitten by a bat.

    So let the bats alone, and let them do their job.
