  1. there arnt specific companie which do this, its just wether you get into the right company in the first place which will offer you this.  try approaching companies and see if there is potential for you to do this although i doubt they will employ you solely to train you and put you thru your test u will probably have to work for them in a warehouse dept or something.

you can always put yourself thru it, go to lane group at avonmouth they do week long intensive courses for hgv driving.

  2. You could try driver hire.

Its an h.g.v agency, that takes on staff to drive vans,7.5 tonnes etc,and they put you through your class 2,however it would be cheaper to get a loan and do it all at once.

I am an h.g.v and p.c.v instructor examiner, and i only know that driver hire do it,as in north we take the trainees for their h.g.v tuition.

Also some food groups like 3663 or brakes may take you on as a trainee, and you will learn to drive after say 6months of working in stores or as a drivers mate.

    Good luck.

It is hard work, and the theory test is much harder now.

    Best of luck. :):)
