  1. Do you have a Dubai residency?  If so, then check with www.dnrd.ae and you can see the requirements for sponsoring family members.  There are new rules going into effect on August 1st, and it doesn't sound like you will be able to sponsor family members, unless you make 10,000dhs per month.  Check with the website and hopefully they can answer your questions.

  2. Dear Friend,

As of date, the rule will permit you to bring your parents and in laws, if you meet the following prerequisites.

The son or the daughter can sponsor the parents or the father and mother-in- law. In order to be able to sponsor your parents or father and mother-in-law, you should have a minimum salary not less than Dh6,000 with accommodation allowance or minimum salary of Dh7,000.

They also need to obtain a medical insurance policy for both with a minimum coverage of Dh600 for each, to be renewed each year.

Provided that the sponsor (you) have a valid residency permit.

Provided that your salary shall not be less than AED.7000

Provided that AED 5000 refundable security deposit for sponsoring the parents and first degree relatives.

After the new law implementation also, you may able to enjoy these terms... But only the matter is the fee structure will be changed.

Rules are changing everyday, so please confirm with the DNRD for daily updates.

    Best of Luck

    Thx

  3. Are they going to work in Dubai or just sit at home? They laws are getting strict starting Aug 1 - trying to keep all the Indians and Pakistanis from bringing over people that don't contribute to the country... why do you think the Filipino's are coming in hundreds... they know how to work.. and smell better as well.

The new rule regarding sponsorship which is suppose to take place 1st of August is regarding sponsoring friends.

    New rules:

Expatriate residents can apply for visit visas only for their relatives such as parents, spouses, children, or siblings. Sponsoring for a friend is permitted only for UAE nationals.
