You could say something like "a thriving mass of anonymous figures, pulsating with the energy that is carried with a throng of people".

That may be a little too descriptive, but if you want a more in-depth sentence, I can do that too...

a crowd is a large gathering of people who are walking up and down to keep a track of their work..they can be called a s a bustling crowd,angry crowd,busy crowd,rush crowd.........anything like too stuck up with their work!
