  1. I think I would take him to the vet.

  2. who cares why!...take him to the vet they can tell you and they may save his life!

  3. maybe he's going through a stage or getting ready to die????

                                      ?????????

  4. Is he getting skinny? Your poor hamster might be dying of old age. The symptoms of this are getting skinny, and loosing fur. If its not this look at this website to help you diagnose your hamster: http://www.hamsterhouse.com/_hamster_/di...

    Hope this helps!

  5. Maybe it's stress.

Take him to the vet if you're really concerned though

  6. Mine lost fur in those places from chewing on his bars. He chewed on the bars at the top, and the bars rubbed off fur from his nose and from his back

  7. stress, death, mites

    it could be anything

if you notice that your hamster is bitting constantly on the wires of the cage, the loss of hair could be because of that. when pets gnaw on wires, the top wire above the nose rubs on the upper nose and irritates the skin.

mites infect on areas like the hind legs, neck, and shoulders. if your hamster is constantly straching or running around then it might have mites. also lack of energy might be mites, but i noticed that hamsters arent always the energetic group of the animal kingdom XD

take it to a vet, see what they would say

  8. it may be old age or he might have a mite for his sake take him to the vets
