I know you can't beat German engineering and that the real HK93 is better but as far as reliability is the vector version close to being as good? I can buy the real one for $3000(comes with colapsing stock, 1 40rnd, 3 25rnd mags, bayonet, bipod sling, handle, all orinal hk 93etc. I would have to sell alot of my stuff to come close to getting it or should I just get the vector around $1200 and keep most of my stuff?

  1. Buy the Vector.

The HK's are great, but overpriced.

The Vectors are a decent price considering the alternative. Plus they have the correct military style mag release that the HK's don't have

  2. Yes, you can beat german engineering, the swiss have been doing it for centuries.

I think a lot of H&K product ride on a fanboy reputation. Sure, it's good, but it is very comparable to all sorts of other much lower priced stuff.

Take a look at H&K's PSG-1 'sniper rifle' there are many equally accurate, durable, and reliable semiauto long range military appication type rifles for a quarter of the price, AND they have the ability to mount scopes that can be dialed in for ranges greater than 600 yards.
