  1. What about Puck?

Anyways: Here are some more names:

    Carom

    Ice

    Roster

    Rusher

    Scramble

    Zamboni

    Wings

    Zone

Good luck! these are just some hockey terms i found.

  2. How about ICE

  3. Goalie

  4. Name your dog Puk or Stick. Name the dog Pokie! Like when someone pokes you with a stick!

  5. Cool! Another Hockey fan!

I have a few dogs I've named after Hockey terms/players

I have a Patrick, after Patrick Roy.

I used to have one named Puck.

I used to have two, named Chelios and Skoula.

And, I co-own one with a friend that I named, Let's Get Jiggy With It, called Jigger, after JS Giguere!

    Some I came up with

    Jersey

    Slapshot

    Wrister

    Thug

    Winger

    Net Minder

Or, you could pick out a favorite players name and use part of it.

  6. Zamboni  (ice resurfacer)

    Puck

    Goalie

    Brodeur (as in Martin)

    Lemieux (as in Claude)

    Daneyko (as in Ken)

    Stanley (as in Stanley Cup)

    LaFleur (as in Guy)

    Roy (as in Patrick)

Winger (forward position as in left or right winger)

Grinder (player known for hard work and toughness rather than goal shooting and finesse)

Trapper (goalie glove/catching hand - non dominant)

Blocker (goalie glove/ used to block shots)

(I put definitions next to some in case people who aren't familiar with hockey read this)

  7. Rocket (Richard)

    Boom Boom (Geoffrion)

    Babe (Siebert)

    Scotty (Bowman)

  8. If it is a girl dog the best name for her would be Trinkets.

I have a friend who plays women's hockey and is very passionate about it, and she likes to kick a$$ on the ice!  One night a group of us were playing Catch Phrase and she was trying to describe a word...one of her teammates yelled "Trinkets" and the hockey player went wild because that was the correct response, I mean she went wild yelling things like "h*ll yeah!" and just being really wild for a game of Catch Phrase.  It was hysterical.

So, now we call our hockey playing friend "Trinkets".
