  1. 1.Center

    2.Jason Spezza

    3. I have played every position at least for one game, but i would like to coach a team though

  2. 1) I play defense

    2) Right now Lidstrom

3)I have played all positions except goalie.

I like Defense much better. I tend to think more that way as a player. That is why I stick to Defense. But if asked I will play wing as needed

  3. 1. I used to play center, but now I mostly play wing (usually right wing).

    2. Hmmmm...so many, but I'd have to say Guy Lafleur and Mike Bossy (ok, that's TWO favorite players)

    3. No. I love scoring, passing and working the puck in the offensive zone. I have played D and as a goalie though...not my cups of tea. Too small for D and too impatient for G.

ADD: Not really my choice...at first. I preferred wing, but got pushed into being center cuz I was pretty good at faceoffs and controlling the puck. I came to prefer center, but as I have gotten older and slower I just can't cover as much ice as I used to, so wing is better for me now.

  4. 1. Defense

    2. All time: John LeClair

    Current: Kimmo Timonen

    3. Sometimes I wish that I had played offense. That is only because defensemen don't get the stats that forwards get and I always have to explain that to people when I tell them my stats. I played forward for a game, once, but I wasn't any good. Defense, though, is fun, because you get to knock people's heads off.

  5. 1 Right Wing/Center

    2 Nick Lidstrom

    3 Some times goalie.

  6. C and Winger

I have helped on D if we are short players

    Mario Lemieux

I would like to try goalie. That way I can say I played all positions.

  7. 1.Left Wing

    2. Patrice Bergeron

    3. Sometimes i wish i played goalie... but im happy were i play.

    your welcome :-]

  8. Right Wing until college. (1997)

At that time, All time : Guy Lafleur, then-current: Teemu Selanne

No though a friend of mine was preparing to try out for the Cdn National women's team as goalie

    Flash forward to 2008

Since then, have played defence, centre, left wing, goalie as well

Favourite all time goalie Jacques Plante, amongst current ones Brodeur

I miss skating out (still do sometimes at pick-up, or when I play roller hockey by myself) but have become a respectable goalie

  9. 1.) I'm goalie.

2.) I'd have to say toss up between Marc Andre Fleury or Sidney Crosby.

3.) No, I love being goalie. I started when I was about 7 and now I'm about 15.  Yeah, there's a lot of pressure on the goalie, but I love it.  It makes the game all the more exciting.

  10. 1.) Left wing

    2.) Thomas Vanek

3.) Sometimes I wonder if I should play D. I can shut people down like crazy but I'm not the strongest backchecker or the biggest guy.

  11. Centre Forword

    Luongo

    Goaltender

I want to play goalie cause i am good at it, but we already have golaies soo yeah

  12. 1. Center

    2. Vincent Lecavalier

    3. No, I like playing center, but if I have to I'll play either left or right wing

  13. Any Forward spot, depending on what team I'm playing on and how many show up for that particular game.

    No particular favorite player.

No, but I play in a men's league so If I wanted to change I could. Other then goalie, it's more difficult to get a spot as a goalie. But I think that playing goalie is pretty insane anyway.

  14. 1. defense-my first coach noticed i was fast and wanted me to be able to skate back and forth while taking the puck up when needed

    2. jordan staal

    3.  i was a center for my first ever full ice hockey mite game... i scored 3 goals... it was also my last... the next game the coach moved me to defense to be more of a catalyst then a scorer... i wish i had been a forward because it loks more fun but i now realize that being a forward also keeps you out of harms way

  15. 1) Goalie

    2) Chris Osgood

    3) Only as an addition, not a replacement

    No problem.

  16. 1) goaltender

    2) Datsyuk/Osgood

    3) I originally played center

I chose goalie becuase when we played no one else liked to be and I volunteered.  When I volunteered I liked being forward cuz I could stick handle and had great vision and was a great assist man... but I grew to love goaltending and I wouldn't have it any other way.

  17. Travel AA Goalie and Highschool Right wing.

    Mario Lemieux

I did untill I started playing forward in highschool. I love goalie more but am happy at both spots.

  18. 1) I just kinda rove. I don't play formal hockey, (at least not yet) so it works well for me to just rove.

    2) Peter Budaj, goalie

    3) Sometimes I really think I'd like to play goalie, but overall, I'm pretty happy with what I do.

  19. 1. I use to play defense.

    2. Sergei Gonchar

    3. Yes, goalie.

  20. 1. goaltender

    2. mike richter

    3. not at all

  21. 1. Wing..either one.

    2. Patrice Bergeron

    3. No...I use to want to play center. But I love winger now :]

EDIT: I chose winger because i like to set up plays and all that good stuff. And i find defense extremely boring. And my coach tried putting me at defense this year because a bunch of ours got hurt, and I felt lost. And I stepped up too much, but it worked out because I scored 3 goals in like 5 periods of hockey at defense. I'm offensively minded, not that I don't play defense as a winger..but I am definately an offensive mided player :]

  22. 1) i play defense

    2) My favorite players are brian Rolston and Brent Burns

    3) I have played every position before landing on the blue line...and its the best place for me

    :D

  23. Wing (both sides)

    Bure

D - your peformance isn't based so much on goals and points but rather playing good sound hockey

  24. I last played during Ronald Reagan's 2nd term and I was a goalie 99% of the time because I idolized Bernie Parent.

Only in last 5 or 6 years have I begun to seriously wonder if I should have been a winger or a d-man. No regrets mind you, but I really liked the physical stuff.
