HOF Tribute Game?

Just some thoughts on the game.

There was one common question asked throughout the ground, and that is "how did Waite get a game?"

Fight between spectators in the bottom row level 2 at the start of 3rd quarter I think, they were bloodied and had ripped tee-shirts it got scary - even though I was a fair was away that someone was going to get thrown over. Took a very long time for Police to arrive, but when they did, there was about 20 of them.

Quite a good match, what did you think you of it?

I enjoyed the build up but I don't think the players went full on.  Understandable I guess considering whats at stake.

I love the Big V but I think the days of the full on state of Origin are sadly gone as footy has become too commercial and players can't risk being injured for the season.  Sad really.

I thought it was good to watch, i enjoyed watching all the good players going around, it's be good if it was every year, give the players a reward for playing well.

even every two years, when i was growing up, players were judged on how many state games they played as well as brownlows and best and fairest awards.

Sounds like a good blue, they showed a little bit on telly, not much, wonder what team the supported?

Awesome Match. Congrats to the Big V but the Dream Team deserve to win.

Fev played fab but Mcleod was better. His kickingwas spot on and his effectiveness was 99.95% to me.

I thought it was great seeing some excellent clean footy.  The cream of the crop all playing together.  Bring it on I say.  I nominate do it every year.

It wasn't a bad match. It would be nice if they could build the morale for it by playing it at least every couple of years.

Thanx for the info about the fight, we briefly saw it on the tube and could tell it was full on but they took the camera off it pretty quickly!

thought it was a great match, exciting too. dreamteam almost had our big V at 3 quarter time. the skill shown in the game was good by most players, especially peter burgoyne, brown, fev, harvey and a few more.

would of liked to see more from
