HOMESCHOOLING IN ALABAMA.....I REALLY NEED HELP

Question

My mom is considering home schooling my sister and I .Im in the 12th grade and shes in the 10th. We live in alabama and were tired of the school were going to. Does anyone know of a cheap way to homeschool, or a free way to homeschool. Im open to online homeschooling to ,or a virtual highschool. Please help me Im trying to get enrolled in a home school as fast as possible.

Free is more prefered.Thank you.

Here in AL, the only thing you'll have to pay is any cover school fees, and some cover schools don't charge fees. Beyond that, everything is up to you guys. Unfortunately, K12 is not an option here, but I think there are other online charter schools you can use. (You still must be covered by an AL based cover school even if you use an online school, though.)

Try http://oldfashionededucation.com/ or just do independent studies that are of interest to you but will also give you the general education you need. And don't forget, the library is your friend!

You can both enroll in the Holy Land School.  They give you everything you need except the pen and paper.. Books, movies, audio files and they are actually online from 9 AM till 3Pm just as if you were in the traditional school.  They use federal funds to lower the costs but both of you is less than $180 per month.  There are 38 students to a class with one full time teacher.  Best thing I think is Graduation in Bethlehem next June.  These are really great people and every teacher has a certificate to teach from the USA.

Honey, in the 10th and 12th grades, what's the point?  Both of you could go take your GED test and pass and get on with your lives!  Go to college, get a job, whatever you'd want to do.

Have you ever heard the statement, "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch" ??  The closest to free there is, is to make your own curriculum using books from the library and online resoures, and your mom give you your diploma.  Anything else is gonna cost ya!

I am in alabama. I do homeschool through a christian school. They are gonna give me an actual high school diploma. I am using the Switched on schoolhouse program. I am also a senior. Its a very easy program to.

i  have been homeschoolin since i was in 2nd grade and now i'm in 12th grade.

   i didnt a computer homeschoolin and really didnt like it that much

    u can contact ur school district and they should tell you what to do.

    my senior year all i have to take for subject is english i completed all of my credits so i hope that works;

Try http://www.k12.com/homeschool to see if they have a free program in your state. There's also connections academy but I don't think they are in Alabama.
