HOOD PIERCINGAND METAL DETECTORS?

IM ABOUT TO GO ON A PLANE. I WAS WONDERING IF THIS PIERCING WOULD SET THE ALARM OFF. THEY SAID I COULD TAKE IT OUT BUT ITS ONLY A WEEK OLD. I THINK THEY USE SERGICAL STEEL AT FIRST BUT I DONT KNOW FOR SURE DOES ANYONE KNOW. PLEASE HELP I LEAVE IN LESS THEN 2 DAYS.

you don't have to take it out, you see when you go through a metal detector, there is someone on the other side looking to see how much metal you have on you, the more you have the higher the reading will be, sure they'll know that you have metal on you but it won't be enough to make them suspicious of you.

I had it done too. Dont worry about. It wont set them off.

I think it's unlikely that you'll have any problems. Small metal objects like zippers, the rivets in jeans or the nails in shoes don't set off the metal detectors, so why should you?

I don't know about that. I have my lip and tongue pierced and it never set off any metal detectors.  Think about has it set off any when you went into a club or school or anything like that.

No it doesn't, if the alarm goes off, it'll be coincidence, you don't have to exclaim that it's only your genital piercing, you'll find it's something else.
