HOTEL WEDDINGS UK?????

just wondering how much your hotel wedding cost just for the ceromony (30 people) and the evening do as thts all we want(150 people buffet)

Hmmm, im not sure but where i work its about £1000 for the hire of the hall and then about £40 a head for food

i think it varies hugely. ive found it has been around £1000 for room hire (although if you are having a wedding breakfast there they don't tend to charge room hire).

Then per head for food varied from around £15 - £60!! Plus all your table decs, entertainment etc etc. I found that it works out to be a fairly costly way of doing it to be honest, but great that you can have the ceremony and service in the same place!

Also, many hotels wont let you have an evening reception there unless you hire the hotel exclusively. Obviously, this means hiring all the hotel rooms and made it out of our budget most of the time.
