HOUSE FINCHES what is the diffrence between a yellow and a red colored birds?

i want to buy some but not quite sure wich sings more

Are you located in the US?  If so, you cannot legally own a House Finch as they are native wild birds.  There is no difference in these two colorations..these are the same species..just different color "morphs".  They also come in an Orange morph as well.  So, one is not going to sing more than the other..they are both the exact same species. This talks a little about their different coloration and how it is related to the foods they eat.
