How can i convice them to let me get my cartiledge pierced?

okay im 15

and i have my ears double peirced

i want my carilege done on my left ear

but my mom thinks i will look like white trash

and my dad thinks i have enought earings

i need to find a way to convice them

i already said i would pay for it, take it out if it looks bad, ive tried everthinrg

i think that it looks bad too, wait till your older, then get it done and dont try to do it yourself, you will regret it

Hey, I know your pain.  I have 10 ear piercings myself, none of which look "trashy."  And getting one cartilage piercing won't look at all trashy.

All you have to do is wait, don't keep begging them.  Is your birthday or a holiday coming up where they ask you what you'd like?  Tell them you want that piercing.  It's not like you're putting a bone in your nose or something extreme like that.

As a LAST resort, if they don't let you...  While out with your friends that you really trust (an artist helps a lot!), go to Claire's or somplace similar and buy the piercing earring by itself.  Have the artistic friend draw the dot where you want it pierced, and while keeping your thumb away from the back of your ear behind the dot, push the earring through after COMPLETELY sterilizing it.  Clean well afterwards, and when piercing, do it in one swift motion.  That's what I did for my 7th and 8th piercings out at a friend's cabin.  Trust me, you'll catch a ton of h**l for it from your parents when they find out, so I'd stick with letting them have you get it done professionally.  Plus, it hurts a lot less.  Even Walmart does ear piercing, it's not as though it's a black market topic.

PS:  Watching the Olympics today, I saw LOTS of athletes with single cartilage piercings.  They didn't look trashy!  And daddy is going to say that you don't need more earrings, after all, he wants his little girl to stay little.  My dad always said that he didn't want me to look like I fell in a tackle box.  It doesn't surprise me that your pops is doing the same.

Your mom is right.  You only want to get your cartilage pierced because your friends want you to do so.  What a dumb reason!

if they still dont let you, do it yourself if you want it that bad. just make sure its sterile.
