U don't need money for private, just buy some books for his age, sit down with him and do the work.

that's wat my mum is doing with me and i'm at GCSE level now.

I didn't go to school coz my mum wasnt happy with the local school and we don't have a car or money for to go private or to the school that i wanted to go to.

There's no special way to homeschool. Find out his interests, make more time for those. You don't have to cover everything. There are lots of resources out there; start with this site and go from there.
