HOW CAN I GET MY PASSPORT

I AM A US RESIDENT BORN IN MEXICO AND AM TRYING TO GET MY PASSPORT ,THE CONSULATE OF MEXICO IS ASKING FOR MY BIRTHCERTIFICATE TO SHOW ME BEING REGISTERED WITHIN ONE YEAR OF BIRTH BUT IT SEEMS MY PARENTS REGISTERED ME AFTER ,WHICH IS NT MY FAULT AND NOW THEY WONT GIVE ME ONE FOR THAT REASON ,IS THERE A WAY AROUND THIS ,I HAD PLAN NS TO VACATION TO CANCUN WITH MY WIFE FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY IN OCTOBER 1ST .

Getting a new or corrected birth certificate in mexico is very difficult.  If your parents did not register your birth for more than one year after you were born that is a big problem.  You may need the help of a Mexican lawyer in the town where you were born.  you most certainly will have to go to court there.  I have had friends with similar problems.  There is no way you can fly without a passport, so you will need to change your vacation plans for October.  If and when you become a U.S. citizen, you can get a U.S passport.  Actually, I do not understand how you became a U.S. resident without having a valid Mexican birth certificate and passport.  When you say you are a U.S. "resident", do you mean you are a legal permanent resident of the U.S. with a green card?  If you are simply living in the U.S. and do not have a green card, you dare not go to Mexico for vacation, because  you will not be allowed back into the U.S.  But, anyway...getting that birth certificate will be a LOT of work, and you will have to start at the Palacio Municipal in the town where you were born.

I almost didn't answer this BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE BEING YELLED AT... see what I mean... it's RUDE.

Something you can try is, go to the church where you were BAPTIZED and get a copy of the church register showing the DATE you were baptized.. and get any other proof of your birth date... letters from local people or whatever and present that information along with you past due birth certificate and see what happens.
