HOW CAN I OBTAIN A COPY OF MY DD214 FROM US ARMY MILITARY SERVICE?

Go to your local veterans representative located in your court house. He can help you obtain a copy. Once you get a copy of it, have it registered as a legal document, the courthouse will keep a copy on file. That way if you lose it again, they can give you a copy.

I wouldn't recommend registering the DD214 with a courthouse anymore. We were advised during outprocessing that a lot of unethical people are getting veteran's Social Security numbers from public records by doing this.
