HOW CAN I SUE MAGICJACK OR AT LEAST GET MY MONEY BACK?

Like many of you I heard of Magi-jack.com it's very ''cheap'' only 20 dol phone service that you connect to your computer, and that's all I'' had to pay" truth is, that I bought 2 of them, total cost of $131.00 and now it's now working for many days, not only that, I advertise my number, (I work from my home) which means that all the advertising money it's lost! Now I asked them why is not working I spoke to a total of 18 agents coz they don't have a number where to call, and none of them are helping me, meanwhile i have no more phone. It's truly frustrating, since I cant afford right now to get a phone in the house, so I don't know what to do, if anyone can relate to this or can help me Plz write me, I need to get that money back I'm willing to give it back to them, their service truly sucks. thanks

I'm familiar with what you are talking about but do not have "first hand" knowledge.  However, I do know this.  Since it is plugged into your USB port it must rely on your computer in some way to work.

Therefore, I surmise, the problem may not be their problem but rather a problem created by your own computer.  Perhaps you've loaded a new program or deleted a program that has changed things in some way. Maybe a shared file.

For them to say it is just a plug-in and use ... is a little risky.  It definitely will have to use your computer resources in some way.

Have you tried plugging it into a friends PC to see if it works through their computer?

It's quite possible the problem is yours and not theirs.

Also .. the "service" may depend on recognizing your specific IP address.  A lot of internet providers do not assign a permanent IP address and therefore when you shut down and reboot .. you may or may not access via the same address.  However, I feel that is something that should be made known by the company at purchase.
