Depends on how old you are.  If you are a minor than it's going to be hard.  Unless you have very good reason for needed/wanting  a Blackberry.  Do you need it for Work ? Tracking Investments on-line ?  

About the only way you could do it is to save enough money to show your parents that you will take responsibility for the account.  Pay all the bills and such.

I had the same problem with my mom. I got a job and agreed to pay for the phone and the $30 data plan each month. If you can't do what I did ask for it on your birthday or for Christmas. Maybe If you did well on your report card your parents might get it for you ask a gift.

Almost got one, myself, until I learned that Verizon adds $29.00 per month(plus) for the Blackberry.. and that is in addition to your minute plan. No options - it's $29.00 more per month. That computes to $348 per year plus taxes.

With the increasingly high cost of energy, fuel, food, clothing and everything else, your parents may not be in a position to spend funds on unnecessary luxuries. I don't know how old you are but maybe a summer job could raise funds to pay the extra costs of the Blackberry. Hand your parents $359 and then ask again,
