HOW CAN i MAKE PICS CLEAR CLOSE UP?

Question

I bought a Kodak C713 digital camera with 3X zoom and 7.0mp.What i want to do is take pictures of watches and watch faces that i will sell on Ebay and my website which i should have running in few weeks.I know i will need to get a photo tent light kit that comes with the lights,white background and stuff but how can i take close up pics perfect with the camera?Do i need to get a diffrent camera or is the one i have perfect for takin close up pics?I know i have to have the setting set to the flower picture to take close pics but if i try to take pics w/o the light tent then the pics wont come out clear/clsoe correct?because right now i want to take pics and post them on Ebay but it will only come clear when im like 3feet away i need to take and post pics that are about 1foot away and clear that show the face and the watch how can i do that?

Set the camera to Macro mode on the dial (Flower icon).

Your camera has a macro working distance of 5 to 28 in., so you should be able to get close enough to your watches.

If your camera doesn't seem to handle close-ups well, consider getting a Canon A590 is. It takes good close-ups, and if you need to get REALLY close-up, you can get an accessory tube to mount filters, so you can get close-up diopters to use with your camera.

Use your macro focus (flower icon)

turn off your flash

use a small aperture size setting

use a tripod
