WHAT DID SOME OF THE OTHER COUNTRIES DO WITH THE MONEY.I THINK WE DEFINITELY GOT OUR MONEYS WORTH IN BEIJING.I WONDER IF THEY USED SOME OF THEIR OWN.

I liked some parts of them (Like the big sphere that came out from the ground).

They were both very good, the opening ceremony was much better than the closing ceremony.

The only reason China put some much money in to it because they though the legacy will be bad cos of the problems china had like human rights , pollution ETC . And they did now want that .

pretty amazing

china attempted to prove to the world its a dominant country  and they expressed their culture so thoroughly. never have i seen a performance of such precision and such thorough planning and organisation. they sure set the bar for london and provided a once in a lifetime spectacle for the world.

i didnt really like them, and the closing  when the athlets came out was, well i thought bad cuz they came out so fast and you didnt really get to see them...the opening was so long and too much i just didnt get it...

but it was amazing that they had so many people with the drum part and how on spot they had to be so they didnt mess it up..the prep must have taken forever

I enjoyed the theatrical productions.  They were very good shows.  I have seen Chinese acrobats that came on tour in my area.  They were amazing.  This display in BeiJing was similar to that small troupe, only amplified a thousand times.  I am sure that it cost plenty.

However, it was my interest in the various sports that brought me to that channel.

I didn't like it to long all it needs its a few fireworks light the place up some colours it was just to boring waiting to see countries come in took all night, the closing was ok didn't like the singing hope london can make it short and neat. That's all you need a few fireworks and that will do just aswell bring on the games..................
