  1. What you need to do is go to each of those school's websites and click on the admissions links. Some schools have more requirements than others(such as written recommendations from a teacher or your guidance counselor). Its important that you sit down with your school guidance counselor as soon as possible to discuss applying to college. They will be able to help you fill out the applications and also you will have to send a sealed transcript to each college. Most will not process your application without your transcript. Also, make sure that each school receives the SAT scores from collegeboard. When I took my SAT's 2 years ago, some of the schools I applied to did not receive my scores, even though I filled it out on collegeboard that they'd be directly sent there. Finally, be aware of the application deadline for each school. Some of them may offer something called "early decision",which means the deadline is much earlier (around November) and you'll receive a letter regarding admission in December or January. Regular admission deadlines can occur anywhere from January to April. Rolling admission means that you can send it any time you want, and you usually receive a notification of acceptance or rejection within 30 days. Good luck =)

  2. First, fill out any application forms that the schools you are interested in provide. These will usually be provided on the universities' websites under the undergraduate admissions sections. An alternative to going to each of these individually and filling them out is the Common Application. Google it!

Once you have completed these applications, go to or contact your current school's guidance department/student services department and request sealed copies of your transcript. Your transcript is a summary of the courses you have taken and your performance in them. Have the school send these sealed transcripts to the admissions department of each university you are interested in. BE WARNED, as some universities have special requirements for where and how they want transcripts sent to them.
