HOW DO I BEAT A RED LIGHT PHOTO RADAR?

,my daughter got a ticket in the mail but the car is under my name. She ran a red light and the camera took her picture in phoenix arizona

You can't beat it. The good thing about those photo red light tickets is...they are not moving violations. It doesn't go on any ones driving record...it's just a way for the city to make more money...so pay the fine and tell your daughter to be more careful or next time she could be hit when running the light.

If you don't pay it...it can go into a warranty and then they will come after you...plus if you get stopped...they arrest you...tow and impound your car....so not only does the original fine double in price, but now you have to pay to get your car out of the pound.

Don't let some idiot tell you to have them prove who was driving. they don't have to...they have a photo proving that YOUR car ran the red light...that's all they need. Like I said...they are not after the driver...just the owner. So either it was you that was wreckless...or you allowed a wreckless driver to operate your car....either way you as the owner are at fault.

Instead of trying to weasel out of the ticket maybe you should be teaching your kid respect for the laws and make her pay for it...

sorry you lose. The courts obviously have proof if they got her on camera. Make her get a job if she hasn't got one already and make her pay for it. Also I would make her go to a safe drivers class, and I'm serious because she could have killed someone. That girl needs a stern talking to.

You can't. Don't let your daughter drive your car anymore, or next time, it won't be a ticket you'll be paying for -- it'll be the damage to someone's car.

Ask them to prove who was driving.  This is the usual means of beating the camera.
