  1. easy dont drive!

    use public transit

  2. Until you can get some professional help, do what I do to ward off road rage: I play Christmas music on the CD player. Even in August! It's hard to be angry when you're singing something silly like "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer".

  3. get your self a pos and run in a demo derby in your local whatever\

wanna hit cars there ya go

cheaper then a shrink  and a lot of fun for a lil cash

got buddies that have r rage issues get them togther and have your own derby(just keep the speeds under 30 ok)

    goodluck

  4. Try anger management. Worked for me. I can`t stand idiots on the road. I would love to be able to run right over them.

  5. Yes, maybe you do. But, as they say, the fact that you recognize the problem means that you can now work for a solution.

I find that my road rage stops the moment I really try to communicate with the other driver.

f***************d or yelling out the window is NOT communication.

Communication is all about intention. You must put an honest effort into finding out why that "stupid" driver did what he/she did. Often there is a good reason. If you find the reason inappropriate, let the other driver know how you feel without raising your voice, or using harsh words.

Often engaging in conversation doesn't work out on the road (which is probably why you are enraged).  So imagine actually speaking with the person face to face. Then imagine that person is a law enforcement officer (which he/she could actually be). Would you still be hostile to that person who could arrest you, or worst yet, use a weapon!!!)

If you would still act in a hostile manner, you REALLY need help, because the road you are on will lead to misery. See a professional.

  6. It sounds like you need to get off the road and into counseling if you have that much trouble controlling yourself. You need to understand that part of driving is dealing with other drivers and their habits. People die needlessly because of attitudes like yours.

  7. See a psychiatrist. There is just about always a deeper personal issue going on that has nothing to do with driving.

  8. start riding a bicycle

  9. Road Rage is not healthy. you should maybe see a psychiatrist. One reason for your Road Rage could be from building up anger inside from something else and not letting it out therefore you are letting it out when you are on the road

  10. First of all, ask yourself these questions:

If someone nearly bumped into you in a store, would you holler at them?

If you were walking through a park and someone passed you, would you fly off the handle and go after them?

If someone started walking in front of you without waiting for you to pass, would you be ready to pick a fight?

I'm sure your answer is "of course not" to all of them. Then why do it when you're in a vehicle? You don't know these people, they don't know you, and you'll probably never see them again. If you don't actually collide, nothing more needs to be done.

Next time you see someone else engaging in road rage, watch and you'll notice how foolish they both look. And what's even more foolish, they're both just asking to get into a fight or assaulted. For what?

There is absolutely nothing to be gained from road rage. But you stand to lose plenty, maybe even your life.

Think about these the next time you're ready to jump all over someone. Let it go. You'll get where you're going without your blood pressure going through the roof.

  11. Drive slower, install a throttle stop, drive in the slow lane at the speed limit..Let other drivers worry about passing you for a change..

I find driving for mpg helps, think about the price of gas.  A new term for it is Hypermiling.   It can tick off some drivers in a hurry..
