HOW DO I ENABLE WIRELESS?

Question

My last laptop had a switch on it to turn on the wireless, easy peasy, but I can't see one anywhere on this laptop. Whilst looking through the settings and programs on my laptop it did show me that it does contain a wireless device so i don't understand. Why the difficulty?Help!
