HOW DO I GET IN THE MERGER AND ACQUISITION BUSINESS?

I am trying to get a job in the merger anda acquisistion business. Does anybody knows who do i get in that business? how do i get a job, do i have to go to school?

I've never heard of that as a specific industry  - but it could be one.

On the one hand, you can start your own business buying up companies (acquisition) and merging them or selling them to another corporation. No degree required, but you'd better have the sales skills.

On the other hand, if you want to do this from within a corporation, you'll need at least a bachelor's degree and probably an MBA. You could do this in investment banking, or for any corporation as a strategic planner or some other kind of top management.
