A kidney stone may not cause symptoms until it moves around within your kidney or passes into your ureter -the tube connecting the kidney and the bladder. These are signs to show the symptoms and they are as foolows;
I. Flank pain. This pain is so severe that you can't stand or sit or be in any comfortable position. It ocurs in the side, back and below the ribs. It also spreads to the lower abdomen and groin. The pain comes in waves and fluctuates in intensity.
II. Frequent urination, that comes in small amounts and there is pain while urinating. Urine color is usually pink, red or brown and it can be cloudy and smelly. There is also a persistent need to urinate.
III. It causes Nausea and vomitting , fever also if an infection is present.
