CRITICIZE
When a friend criticizes you, its normally in private and for your own good, but a jealous person will do this in public to put you down.
INDIFFERENCE
They are not happy when you succeed on a project. They find it hard to congratulate you on your achievement, for some their reaction says it all. They are not moved.
GOSSIPING
They would always want to find ways to put you down, therefore Gossiping is one of these. Talking negative things about you in your absence.
COMPETITION
They compete with you on all levels. There is a difference when you and your friend have similar tastes in a lot of things, it's mutual and you can share a laugh on it, but one that is jealous would want to get anything you get ten times better, for example you get a job that pays well, they get one that pays higher, you get a blue dress, they get a blue dress with sparkling stones, you did a small birthday with candles, their birthdays go with fireworks, probably at the same venue in extreme cases.
HUMILIATION
They humiliate you in front of family and friends, whatever you told them in secret, they make known in public, making you feel small. They always try to devalue you and make themselves feel better.
NO SHOW
In times when you need them the most like on your special day, they are never there, they never want to give you support or celebrate with you because they can't stand your success. They don't give a head's start that they won't be coming, they just don't show up.
