HOW DO I WRITE A LETTER TO A CHILDHOOD FRIEND THAT IS IN JAIL, WE HAVENT SPOKEN IN ABOUT TWO YEARS ?

  3. Anything related to charity, grace, forgiveness, and compassion in this trying time without mingling anything too intimate. Everyone makes mistakes, the question remains "What will you do with this day you have been given, will you be selfish with it or selfless and give without return?".  If the letter encourages selfless traits it will prosper.  Hope this helps.

  4. How about:  Hi, friend.  Sorry you are in the slammer.  Hope you don't find it too hard getting a job when they spring you.

    No, I'm not hiring at this time.  Can I bake you a cake with a hacksaw blade inside.

    If this 'friend' has no sense of humor...Don't write.

  5. Just let the words come.  Make sure that you have the person's correct address, which should include his/her prison number.
