HOW DO THEY PREPARE DEAD BODIEs?

Before a wake when they put the body in the casket. how do they prepare the body. Do they take all the organs out? what do they do to the body?

I'm not sure they do much more than drain the blood, replace it with embalming fluid and dress/beautify the corpse. What's done with the organs however, I couldn't tell you.

well the embalm the bodies, or the cremate them if they embalm them they take all the organs out and sew em up.

i can tell you abit first of all the drain the body of blood. then they take all the innerards out. that is chst stuff heart liver etc. and they burn it i assume. they stitch you up and your mouth and lips and eyes. then they put on make up and fix the hair and stuff. they do put the clothes on you and they put the entire thing underware etc shoes the entire stuff. and you lay there and then you are buried. its crude but the way they do it in a nutshell.

In the United States and every other country I have ever visited does NOT remove the organs, it has little to do with religion, as embalming is generally done by licensed personnel, not the elders of a tribe!  

There is no reason to remove organs, and they are not sucked out during aspiration, they are merely suctioned of any remaining fluid.  The organs stay right where they are.

We make a small incision near the collarbone and use the carotid artery and jugular vein.  We pump embalming fluid into the artery and drain the cood out of the vein down the drain.  We then aspirate the chest cavity.  No organs removed, process takes about 1 1/2 hours.

I don't know what is specific to a wake, but as for the embalming process, they suck out the organs (this is called aspiration) drain the blood, and replace it with embalming fluid.  They usually do other cosmetic things, such as makeup, things to keep the eyes shut, etc.

The correct answer would depend on nationality and religion too. SOME religions remove all the organs.

they use a machine that pumps the blood out of your body and replaces it with a cemical preservative. ive always wanted to do it as a job am i realy strange did you know that the blood goes strait down the sink i think thats realy messed up (i saw it on tv)
