HOW DO U CONNECT HDtv TO HOME THEATER?

i was wondering. how do u connect an HD tv to home theater

i need help please

What do you mean by home theater?  Do you mean your sound system?  Your setup will be different, depending on what you have.  Please give us more info,

You should have a HDMI connection on your HDTV and hopefully on your receiver. If so, just plug and go. See your owner's manuals for details. Always double-check your connections.

If your surround sound has HDMI:

Plug an hdmi cable from the dvd/bluray player to the surround sound hdmi in. Plug another hdmi cable from the surround sound hdmi out to the tv.

If your surround sound has optical audio in only:

connect your dvd player/bluray player to the surround sound with an optical cable. Connect the hdmi or component cables from the dvd player to the tv for video.
