  1. try a system restore...pick a date from b4 you had it on ur computer.

  2. I'm sorry, i dont kno....I have stopzilla too, but the way I took it off was by rebooting my whole computer and then I never re installed it.

  3. Obvious you have tried your add/remove and that did not work or have left many fragments of STOPZILLA garbage behind.  Now you must go to your tray and open start, search and type in stopzilla and let your PC search for all related files that are associated with stopzilla.  Then delete each file from the bottom up.  If any file says being used or write protected you can reboot and go back and usually the file will delete the second time.  IF NOT, THEN MESSAGE ME AND I WILL GIVE YOU FREE SOFTWARE THAT WILL DELETE ANY WRITE PROTECTED FILE, OR FILE THAT CLAIMS TO BE IN USE BY ANOTHER FILE.

Now go to your tray, start, run and type in:  c://program files, right click on browse, open program files and look for STOPZILLA, and then try and delete the file.  Again if the file will not delete reboot and go back and try again.  IF STILL WILL NOT DELETE MESSAGE ME AND I WILL GIVE YOU SOFTWARE THAT WILL DELETE THE FILE ALONG WITH ALL OF THE DRIVERS ASSOCATED WITH THIS GARBAGE.

SHOULD WARN YOU THAT NORTONS IS THE VERY SAME, LEAVES OVER 375 FRAGMENTS IN YOUR SYSTEM, GLUED TO YOUR FILES, FOLDERS, SUB FOLDERS AND IS H*** trying to remove all of them.

  5. There are many programs that are so cleverly coded that you have difficulty removing them, even going through Add & Remove Programs...

Here is a handy little tool that is FREE

and those nuisance programs will be removed on reboot.

    Use Program:

    REMOVE ON BOOT SHELL EXTENSION

    Go to:

    http://www.snapfiles.com/get/removereboo...

Scroll down to: (and click it to download)

    1.  Download it to a folder on your desktop >

open the folder and double click the install the REMOVE ON REBOOT program >

    then restart your computer.

    2. To remove program >Right click on your program folder that you want removed

    3.  Left click sub-menu option: REMOVE ON REBOOT

    4.  Then reboot your pc

I've had lots of great luck with this little program. I think you'll like it too.
